My son says "Guess what? Chicken Butt!", so when I saw these stamps I had to get them. I love this DP by My minds Eye. The colors go great with SU cardstock colors. I chose certainly celery - inked with old olive, blue bayou and real red to go with it this time. I made the scallop circle with my nesties and popped the chicken's beak and waddle with small dimensionals and her "bootay" with thicker dimesionals from Hobby Lobby, so it "Sticks up" just a little more.
This card was made with Brilliant Blue, Summer Sun and Danny O DP. I sponged the edges of the cardstock with the same color ink. The Duck is from Clear Dollar Stamps Cute Critters set, the pom poms are from Clear Dollar Accessory Fun set and the skirt was handcut by me! I used silver hodgepodge hardware and inked the edges of the oval punch sentiment. I add the blue ribbon and it took me from wanting to toss this card in the trash to actually thinking it's pretty cute.I have to go to a seminar for work this afternoon. The good news about this is that Kai went to my mom and dad's for the whole week. Because I wasn't going to be back in time to pick him up this evening and his school is closed on Friday. So, while I will miss him, I have the house all clean and it might just stay that way, so I can play!
